We're Back! July 07 2016, 0 Comments

We had technical difficulties also and after bouncing around to different platforms and redesigns of this awesome site we can begin to talk about fun things again.  Check out new products and yes, make suggestions, we're all for adding anything cool.

Top 10 Movie Characters June 24 2015, 0 Comments

Well according to Empire Magazine in the UK these are the top 10 movie characters all time-

1. Indiana Jones

2. James Bond

3. Han Solo

4. Batman

5. Alien’s Ellen Ripley

6. The Joker

7. Die Hard’s John McClane

8. Fight Club’s Tyler Durden

9. Darth Vader

10. The Big Lebowski’s The Dude

I don't have too much of an issue in the top 3, happen to like those a lot, but some of the others really threw me.  How does it compare to your list?

Streaming June 18 2015, 0 Comments

How do you watch TV now?

1) Binge streaming.

2) What's a TV?

3) One episode a week, that's the way I grew up.

4) DVR

5) I wait for the episodes to come out on DVD/Blu-ray.

6) TV?  I play video games!

I won't lie, I do some binging, but with kids it's not always the shows I want.

Worst Movie Openings June 11 2015, 0 Comments

As far as I can tell these types of stats have been kept the past 3 decades or so and do you know what the worst weekend openings have been?  There's always the odd movie no one has heard of, but would you have put these in your top 5?  Hoot, The Seeker, Strange Magic each grossing no more than 3-5 million.  Proof that a great book, TV series or even the creator of Star Wars is not immune to take a hit when the offering is lacking.

Just to put that into perspective a good opening can easily see a movie gain $50 million like Jurassic Park III or Independence Day to $200 million like The Avengers

Not criticizing the financial disasters mind you it is America, and we can throw money away with the best of em.  Plus these all made more than my movie.  Can't believe no one wants the story of my life.  Sad really.

Thanks to Box Office Mojo for keeping stats that are fun and informative on this subject.

Happy June June 04 2015, 0 Comments

That means new catalogs from our other divisions.  Give Museum Replicas ( or Atlanta Cutlery ( a call 800-883-8838 or hit them up on line and get some for FREE.   Nearly 200 new products have been added in the past month.

Believe it or not, we are still a pretty cool mail order company and the catalog is a great way to enjoy the items when recharging your electronics.

New Arrivals May 28 2015, 0 Comments

FYI, we're switching soon to a new layout for our site which is pretty exciting, but has slowed our process for adding new items.  That said I've snuck some in under the radar.  Most are in the New Products section, but here's a highlight-

Featured are tons of prop license plates from your favorite TV shows and film.  Wands from a certain wizarding world.  Cool wallets and hats from SHIELD and HYDRA.  Even some Assassin's Creed and Forbidden Planet stuff.  Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Vikings make an appearance too.  We hope you have as much fun buying as we do bringing it to you.

If Agent Coulson can pass along his ID just for your use, it would be rude to decline don't you think?

Lastly, we do our very best to keep everything in stock (nearly 90%).  The real world functions a bit differently though and we appreciate your patience on the rare occasion an item is not immediately available.

Who should be the next Indiana Jones? May 19 2015, 0 Comments

With all the recent speculation on casting the much anticipated continuation of Dr. Jones adventures we got to thinking- this guy is a real man's man, not something we see as much of any more and frankly miss.  Who could play Indie today?

1) Chris Pratt

2) Shia Labeouf

3) Zac Efron

4) Jeremy Renner

5) Robert Pattinson

6) Jonathan Rhys Meyers

7) Josh Hutcherson

8) Hunter Parrish

9) Chiwetel Ejiofor

10) Chris Hemsworth

11) Still gotta be Harrison Ford

I still have a soft spot for Harrison, sort of like Sean Connery being Bond.  You just can't go wrong.  Then again you can't go on forever either.  My short list would be Pratt, Renner, Rhys Meyers and Ejiofor.

Local Party May 15 2015, 0 Comments

Well it seems like one.  If you're in the Atlanta area and more specifically can get to Conyers (about 30 minutes due east) we're having our annual warehouse sale with items up to 60% off this Saturday the 16th from 8-4.  A lot of samples, one-offs, prototypes, slightly damaged, discontinued, overstock, slow movers, well you get the idea.  It's a once a year opportunity to get that prop, accessory or costume you've been wanting and waiting to act on.

We hope to see you there.  If anyone asks, I'm the one in the kilt and I'm going regimental!

Atlanta Film Hot Spot May 13 2015, 0 Comments

This might be the hottest town around and I don't mean for temps- for films and TV.  There are literally dozens of productions going on at any given time, but you may know some of the most recent ones including Walking Dead, Constantine, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Ant Man, Captain America: Civil War, Selma, Mena, Goosebumps, Insurgent, Hunger Games, Magic Mike XXL, Ride Along, Taken 3, Anchorman: the Legend Continues, and anything Tyler Perry.

Hollywood of the South!

Ultron May 04 2015, 0 Comments

So it looks like I'm one of say six or seven in N America that didn't see Ultron yet.  And Marvel is hurting for $$ because of it.  Still a pretty cool movie that I'll throw in with, but that brings me to baddies.  Whose your favorite bad guy in a movie this year?

1) Ultron, Avengers 2

2) Blofeld (Ok, we all think it's him), SPECTRE

3) Indominus Rex, Jurassic World

4) Kylo Ren, The Force Awakens

5) Terminator, Genesys

6) Agent 47, Hitman

7) Other
